It is globally known that when cared for by a midwife, there are lower chances of medical interventions. Despite having a rich history of midwives or daimas, there remains a gap in India, where nurses recieve limited training in midwifery skills.

In order to bridge that gap, and help our nurses gain confidence in these skills, we've collaborated with a midwife from NHS, UK to train our staff so they can help expecting women by supporting them physically, emotionally and mentally during labour and delivery.

Benefits of Midwifery led care

Nurses are able to develop a unique relationship with expecting women, providing comfort and camaraderie when they need it the most..

  • Helps women manage labour better with constant guidance, supervision of trained nurses who help with exercises and other pain relieving techniques
  • Lowers the need for medical interventions such as cesarean
  • Facilitates a safe and positive birth experience

See what Ketaki has to say about the support she recieved from our nurses!

"The staff was so cooperative. I never felt like the nurses and my husband were two different teams, it felt like they were all one team, motivating me through my pain. The nurse actually went and consoled my mother who was crying outside by saying 'aunty, aap ro mat! Main inka normal delivery kara kar hi ghar jaaungi. ' And they made it happen!" - Ketaki Pande Gupta, delivered in 2017.
